THE FIRE STARTER

Your Core Wound: Not Enough

& Watch For: Not Worthy

Catalytic. Magnetic. Unstoppable. Built To Ignite.

I see you.

I see the woman who has never had a problem with momentum. Who shows up, who delivers, who gets things done in ways that leave people around her genuinely in awe. Who has built real things, things that matter, things that work, things that most people only dream about building.

And I see what it has cost you.

Because here is what nobody in your life has said to you yet, and I need you to really take this in.

You have never had a problem with momentum. Momentum has always been the one thing you could count on. The problem is how that momentum was sourced.

It was sourced from fear. From proving. From a crushing internal pressure that masquerades so convincingly as drive that you stopped being able to tell the difference years ago. And that fuel, as powerful as it has been, has been running you toward achievement and away from something far more important.

Away from yourself.

Away from the question, you have never quite let yourself stop long enough to ask.

What do I actually want to build?

Not what do I need to prove. Not what will finally be enough. Not what will keep everything from falling apart if I slow down for even a moment.

Because, sister, sometimes things need to fall apart.

The things that fall apart when you slow down were never truly yours to hold together. And the things that are truly yours? Those do not fall apart when you finally stop running. They are waiting for you on the other side of the stillness. They are more patient, aligned, and solid than anything you have built from fear.

What do I actually want?

That question can be terrifying for you. And it is also the most important question you will ever answer. Because the Fire Starter who builds from desire rather than fear, who moves toward something rather than away from something, becomes one of the most extraordinary forces this world has ever seen.

You have felt her in glimpses. The moments when everything clicked, and the work felt effortless and alive and completely yours. When you looked up and thought How is this called work?

That is not a fantasy. That is your actual frequency. This is my hope for you: one day, very soon, you will stop long enough to feel what has always been waiting for you in the quiet. And when you do, you will discover that what is waiting there is not a collapse. It is you. The real you. The one who was always meant to lead this. You will need to become more fully yourself than you have ever allowed.

And from that stillness, you ditch the race and rise into the dance you were always made for.

Your Mindset Motto:

I am not built for the race. I was made for the dance.

What Makes You Extraordinary

There is something that happens when you are truly aligned, and if you have felt it even once, you know exactly what I am talking about.

The right words arrive without you searching for them. It can almost feel like you are channeling what comes through you for others to receive.  The insight lands so precisely it surprises even you. That is your actual frequency, the one that has been available to you all along, underneath all the pressure and the proving and the running. That is you, operating from your true power source. And it is available to you far more consistently than your wounds have ever allowed you to believe.

And your resilience, I need you to hear this clearly. What you have carried and pushed through would have stopped most people completely. That is not a small thing. That strength you have been using to survive the race? Imagine what it builds when it finally has something worthy of it. Imagine what you create when that same fierce capacity is aimed at something that is genuinely, unapologetically yours.

And then there is the way you ignite people. You are a catalyst, and that energy is contagious. You activate others in a rare way that allows them to shift into feeling possibility where there might have been none. You do this without trying. You do this without even knowing it is happening. When you are on fire, the energy of possibility is literally tangible. That is such a rare gift.  And people want more of that. The caveat is that it needs to be authentic. You must be ignited by purpose, joy, and passion for the flames to spread.  When you are operating from purpose rather than pressure, something completely different happens. People feel something move in them before they can explain what happened. That is your genius zone.

That is the Fire Starter in her truest form. And she has been inside you the whole time, waiting for the race to end so the dance could finally begin.

Now, here is where I want you to pay attention.

Some Fire Starters carry a second wound alongside the Not Enough wound, and if this lands for you, I want you to really sit with it. The Not Worthy wound is quieter and more private than the Not Enough wound. Where the Not Enough wound drives you forward, the Not Worthy wound hollows you out from the inside. It sounds like even if I achieve everything I have been working toward, I am not sure I deserve to own it. It carries a shame quality, a sense of being fundamentally flawed at the core that no amount of achievement can reach or resolve.

Not every Fire Starter carries this second wound. But many do. And if you have ever found yourself achieving something significant and immediately feeling like a fraud, not just uncertain, but genuinely undeserving, that is worth paying attention to.

There is also another way the Not Worthy wound shows up for the Fire Starter that is worth naming. When you have been building for validation rather than genuine purpose, when the momentum has been sourced from proving rather than from something truly aligned, the work itself can start to feel hollow or even like a dead end. And this produces its own kind of imposter feeling. Don’t make the mistake of believing that you are fundamentally flawed. That would be tragic. Instead, recognize your inner wisdom nudging you and letting you know that you're on the wrong path. That is not a character flaw. That is your soul's intelligence trying to redirect you.

What Has Really Been Running Your Business

Let's start with what you absolutely will recognize.

You carry the Not Enough wound. It is the engine underneath everything. The relentless drive to prove, to achieve, to keep moving, that is the Not Enough wound doing what it was designed to do. Keep accumulating proof. Keep closing the gap. Keep moving so fast that the question never quite catches up.

Am I enough yet? Have I proven that I am smart enough, talented enough, strong enough, or successful enough?

This has been the invisible fuel source for most of what you have built. And the cruel truth of it is this: the Not Enough wound never says yes. No achievement is ever quite sufficient. No result quite closes the gap. The goalpost moves every single time you reach it. So you keep running.

The vision that is genuinely yours, the one built from desire and purpose rather than fear and proving, will never produce that hollow feeling.

How This Has Been Showing Up

  • Decisions made from urgency and momentum rather than genuine desire and alignment.

  • A business that looks successful from the outside and feels like an exhausting performance from the inside.

  • Difficulty pausing, receiving, or resting in what you have built, there is always something more that needs to happen first.

  • Experiencing Burnout that you attempt to recover from by doing the only thing you know how to do-getting back up and running harder.

  • When good things happen in your business, it feels like more pressure than genuine celebration, because now you have to deliver at the level they are expecting.

These are three things for you to consider…

When you compare yourself to someone else’s success or highlight reel, your internal pressure button is activated. The comparison might make you feel like shrinking in the moment, but eventually it turns into urgency. You have to run harder, do something-anything to feel more productive. When you see someone doing what you want for yourself, you have until yesterday to get it done. So you run on the fear that where you are today is not good enough. This produces more output and exhaustion. The women you are comparing yourself to are not showing you what you should have done already. They are showing you what is possible. When you can sit with this possibility without urgency, and instead fuel yourself into action through joy, that’s when you spread like wildfire!

The Comparison Trap

The Identity Question

You are someone who was built to move, but toward something, not away from something. You are someone who was built to ignite, but from joy, not from fear. You are someone whose capacity for action, execution and leadership is genuinely extraordinary. But that capacity has been running on the most exhausting and unsustainable fuel source available.

Coming into this portal and reading this far is divine timing- activating your core codes. It is time for you to heal these wounds and become more fully yourself than ever. It is time to shift your beliefs about yourself and this life. You need to trust that desire is not dangerous and wanting is not selfish or a distraction from the work; it is THE SIGNAL you are finally doing the right work. It is time for you to find safety in the quiet to go inward and wait for your marching orders. You will need discipline to slow down and define what you want, and only act when aligned.

Sister, I cannot miss an opportunity to get even clearer with you about the comparison trap. This is huge.

So if you are skimming, lock it in here:

You will never win the comparison game. But we can spiritually hijack it right now. All you have to do is feel what I am about to say-so deeply and with an open heart. When you feel jealous and not enough in comparison to others, you are only experiencing your own potential, the very one you have been too afraid to claim.  Jealousy is shining a light on what you possess but deny.  So, happily watch out for it. And then give a nod to the universe when something in your path triggers it. You are being asked to awaken and believe in what is possible for you.

What Becomes Possible

When the Not Enough wound begins to heal, something happens that you will not fully believe until you experience it.

The pressure lifts. Not all at once, but enough that you can feel the difference between movement that comes from fear and movement that comes from desire. And once you feel that difference, you cannot unfeel it.

Your capacity does not diminish. It expands because it is no longer being consumed by the wound. Your drive does not disappear; it finds its true direction. Your fire does not go out; it finally discovers what it is actually for. You are going to feel liberated!

Your work will feel like play. It will feel like the most natural thing you have ever done. Like something you would do whether anyone paid you or not.

Good things will arrive, and instead of feeling pressure, you will feel joy. Pure, uncomplicated, deeply earned joy. And you will let yourself feel it before you move to what is next.

This is your genius zone. This is your purpose frequency. This is the Fire Starter operating at full capacity: magnetic, catalytic, channeling what the world needs, attracting everyone aligned with her mission, building something so genuinely hers that the sky is quite literally the limit.

You will want to pinch yourself. That is how you will know you are finally there.

Women Who Share Your Archetype

Arianna Huffington literally collapsed from burnout at the height of her success, broke her cheekbone on her desk, woke up asking if this was really what she had been running toward. She then built an entirely new relationship with success and wrote Thrive.

Serena Williams drove harder than anyone in her sport under enormous internal and external pressure. Has spoken about the weight of always having to prove herself, not just as a champion but as a Black woman in a white sport.

Beyoncé has spoken about the crushing internal pressure of performance, the hollowness that follows extraordinary achievement, and the deep personal work required to move from proving to purposeful.

Your Next Step

You just named something most high-achieving women spend decades running past without ever stopping to see. The wound has been disguising itself as ambition, as drive, as the very qualities that have made you successful. Seeing it clearly is an act of extraordinary courage.
